Creation is the play of love meeting resistance.

Resistance is not the enemy of love. It is love slowing itself down, giving itself edges so that something can happen.

Pain belongs to that movement. Suffering begins when resistance believes it is permanent.

We do not become love by acquiring something new. We become love made manifest when resistance relaxes enough that love is no longer obscured by identity.
