LOOKING FOR YOUR FACE - addiction as a home sickness - for the Love of God.

This is a copy of a post I sent out a year ago, about our ache and yearning to re-unite with the Divine, that underpins all addiction and dependency. Though, as it turns out the Divine never separated from us, to think otherwise is a profound illusion. That every moment of anger is a moment of fear and ultimately always a moment of grief, when we mistakenly believe that we are separate from the source of our true nature….LOVE….which is impossible.And, so I send this out again today as a reminder to myself et al that what I have been looking for all my life is already deep within me, always has been and always will be. CONTEMPLATION

Music ‘Give My Love Back’ Francis WellsAnger masks the fear that hides the longing. Anger is a pointed moment of grief, as is fear - it tends to mirror a deeper aspect of our underlying sorrow, of grief.If we do not wish to be angry then we find a way to work through our anger and fear states and allow the tears to flow from underneath which then in turn allows us to be at peace again - one with all that is….in time.Easier said than done, indeed it is - our grief can be long stuck in our cellular, nervous system bodies and requires a therapeutic safe container in order for the ego to let go, in order to surrender our tears - it takes time to trust the process.The ego does not give up its position(s) easily - in reality what we talk about as healing is alien to our ego - the heart’s truth and the love on offer there is the ego’s greatest enemy because in order to let go of our suffering it requires a death of an aspect of that ego - to let go into the peace that our heart knows and desires (our true nature) - this is the grief process. For those of you who manifest anger in your life, often hurting yourself and others in the process - contact me and I can help you come up with a structure to feel safe within and let your anger go, techniques and practices and the critical support often needed - of how that might look for you - in order to finally allow your grief and heal.We find that we often hurt the ones we most love because they mirror the deepest aspects of our suffering simultaneously - we push away often in anger and fear because the pain is so great within us - their love touches. A FUNDAMENTAL TRUTH

IT IS IN THE NOTHING THAT THE EVERYTHING IS FOUND

There is a wise old man who never spoke……not because he couldn’t….. that he had nothing to say…….it was because he believed that language deceived……that by its very nature it clouded the truth……..it made the world harder to know...…… he believed that the truth….. the truth lived only in silence.He communicated in other ways……..mainly through the food he prepared from his garden…….it conveyed his affection, gratitude, and sometimes his indifference………far better than any words could express.
